Role Packs

A role pack is a bundle of tasks with a time limit, designed for a specific job role. For example:

  • Senior Backend Engineer — Tasks 101 (Pool Exhaustion), 103 (Retry Storm), 202 (Architecture Review) · 90 minutes total
  • Frontend Developer — Tasks 301 (State Mgmt Bug), 302 (Accessibility), 305 (Design System) · 60 minutes total
  • Full-Stack Generalist — Tasks 001 (Bug Fix), 003 (Pagination), 201 (Security Review) · 90 minutes total

Creating a Role Pack

  1. Go to Team Hub > Role Packs
  2. Click "Create Role Pack"
  3. Name it (e.g., "Senior Backend Engineer")
  4. Select tasks from the library
  5. Set the time limit
  6. Save and activate
Choose tasks that reflect the actual work the candidate will do. Mix difficulty levels for a more nuanced signal — one beginner task to calibrate, one advanced task to differentiate.

Inviting Candidates

Send candidates a unique assessment link:

  1. Go to Team Hub > Invitations
  2. Click "Invite Candidate"
  3. Enter the candidate's email and name
  4. Select a role pack
  5. Send the invitation

The candidate receives an email with a unique link. When they click it, they can create an account (or sign in) and immediately start the assessment. The link includes a token that connects their session to your team.

Invitation Status

  • Pending — Invitation sent, candidate hasn't started
  • Accepted — Candidate clicked the link and started the assessment
  • Completed — All tasks submitted, scorecard ready
  • Expired — The invitation link expired (default: 7 days)

Reviewing Scorecards

After a candidate completes their assessment, a detailed scorecard is generated. Access it from Team Hub > Scorecards. Each scorecard includes:

  • Overall score (0-100) and letter grade (S/A/B/C/D/F)
  • Breakdown of all 8 scoring dimensions with individual scores
  • Behavioral pattern detected (e.g., Explore-Plan-Execute)
  • Strengths and weaknesses summary
  • Key moments — timestamped evidence of notable behaviors
  • Full session replay with timeline

Candidate Comparison

Compare multiple candidates side-by-side from Team Hub > Comparison. The comparison view shows:

  • Overall scores and grades ranked
  • Dimension-by-dimension comparison across all candidates
  • Strengths and weaknesses highlights
  • Quick access to individual scorecards

Live Session Tracking

Monitor active assessments in real-time from the Team Hub dashboard. See which candidates are currently in a session, how much time they have remaining, and their current test pass rate.

Managing Team Members

Add colleagues to your team so they can review scorecards and manage assessments. Team roles:

  • Owner — Full access including billing and team deletion
  • Admin — Can manage role packs, invitations, and team settings
  • Member — Can view scorecards and candidate comparisons
